My Story

I’ve been writing stories since my teens, but in 2002, shortly after seeing "The Fellowship of the Ring" in the theaters, one of my old stories took hold and grew...and grew...and grew. As the mythology and history grew in my notes files, I continued to work full time, work on my Bachelor's degree, and raise my infant son.

In 2009, I was laid off from my job and with no prospects in sight, I devoted more of my time to completing my first novel. All that mythology and history came to fruition in "Lady of Terras." This introduction into my new world was published in May 2011. 

Since then, I’ve found solid work, completed my Bachelor's degree as well as a Master's, and saw my son enter adulthood. But, during that time, my writing never stopped. Since, "Lady of Terras" is the first in a planned trilogy, I continued to work on the two follow up books. In late 2017, I took the opportunity to revisit "Lady of Terras" and began to make a number of changes. This time, I also employed the aid of two editors: H.G. Hamilton and S. Baker. With their help, my first novel saw vast improvements. I also worked with my talented sister, J.A. Terry, to include artwork. A few years later, and the second edition was ready for publication.

As I continue to work on my follow-up books, which have now turned into a 5-book series, rather than 3, I am also embarking on a merchandise store for my world, and working with my sister on a corresponding coloring book.

It is an exciting - and very busy - time. I can't wait to share it all with you!
